Votes:0 ABCD A Basic Course in Dvorak The Dvorak Keyboard is a major improvement over the QWERTY layout, which was designed to slow people's typing speed! Learning it may increase your typing speed, and even reduce the risk of repetitive strain injuries. With the aid of some interesting parsing techniques, I have devised a typing course which, much like the tutors of the QWERTY keyboard, starts you out on the home rows and gradually has you learning the entire keyboard. With a Dvorak keyboard, you can type fairly interesting words fairly quickly. (Anybody remember lessons like "a sad lass; a dad falls" ?) I have been interested in the Dvorak keyboard layout for some time, but never was able to find a typing tutor that properly taught this layout. I even bought a piece of commercial softw Read More Go to Site

Votes:0 DOS Tutorial A quick and simple DOS tutorial. What is DOS? MS-DOS is a "Disk Operating System". That means it is simply: "a System for Operating the Disks", (but MS-SOD doesn't sound as nice). In practice however, just as Windows does more than just print windows, DOS does more than just operate the disks: It enables the user to organise data files, load and execute (run) program files, and control the input and output devices attached to the computer. There are other brands of DOS besides the most well known "MS-DOS", ie: PC-DOS, DR-DOS/OPENDOS. Generally speaking, they will all function in the same way, especially at the most simple level. What is Booting? To run DOS on a computer, it should be the first program to be executed when the computer is switched on. This led to a problem for t Read More Go to Site

You should also check whether the chair will meet at least the following criteria: Does the seat pan feel comfortable and fit your shape? When you sit in the chair the seat pan should be at least one inch wider than your hips and thighs on either side. Most ergonomic chairs have a seat pan with a waterfall front that prevents the seat from catching you behind the knees.
